Ministry in Israel Pastor Joel travel to Gonen,
Israel to participate in a School of Christ,
International for the churches in the northern part
of Israel. Pastor B. H. Clendennen was the
teacher of the school which was attended by
approximately 50 pastors and church leaders who
spoke three different languages-Hebrew, Arabic and
Russian.
God stirred our hearts as Pastor Clendennen
preached powerfully from the Word of God. WE
believe that God will use the School of Christ to
bring renewal and true revival to the land of
Israel.
It was a joy to be able to fellowship with this
diverse group of believers. God is working
powerfully in Israel today. The recent wars has
raised the anxiety level in Israel. Constant
fear of the future has caused many to seek a new
source of security and many of them are turning to
Jesus as their Messiah.
Kalid, is a young man who had no hope for the
future. He had no job, no friends, and no
inner peace. He was angry at God and the rest
of the world. One day he saw a group of people
gathered to listen to a man singing and playing the
guitar. As he listened someone approached him
and told him about a place where he could go and
hear about God. He accepted the invitation to
go and there he found a loving and caring group of
believers who led him to Jesus Christ.
Pastor George is an Arab who has been a Christian
for over 20 years. In 2001 he died while on a
hospital operating table as the doctor performed
surgery on his back. While the doctors worked
to resuscitate him, Pastor George meet with Jesus.
Jesus showed him a book of reward that outlined his
ministry--all the good works he had performed.
As Jesus showed him the book, he flipped through
many blank pages, and George asked him why the pages
were blank. Jesus told him that those were the
times that he had been sent to speak a word to
someone, but had failed to go or failed to speak to
the word Jesus desired. George wept in
repentance as he realized his failure to do God's
will. Jesus sent George back to earth renewed
in faith for his future ministry.
The next day as the doctor tried to explain what
had occurred in the operating room, George told him
not to worry about it. He had seen the
events-the three times that they had shocked his
body. All the work and labor performed in
saving his life. He also shared of how he had
meet with Christ.
Over the last 5 years over 3500 people have been
saved in hearing George's message. Three
hundred people have been been healed. Revival
is stirring in the land of Galilee, the place of
Jesus' earthly ministry. |
